​Kristen Beck, PhD Candidate UC Davis Genome Center Instructor and advocate, Girls Who Code. Kristen is a third-­‐year doctoral student at the UC Davis Genome Center where she uses bioinformatics to understand the complexities of human milk. Kristen developed a passion for science at an early age, but learned to code only once joining the Korf lab in 2011. Since then, her curiosity for all things technical has truly exploded. After teaching herself R and Perl, she accepted a position at Girls Who Code, a nationwide non-­‐profit aiming to decrease the gender gap in the tech industry. She was the instructor for the 2013 Summer Immersion Program where she taught robotics, web and mobile app development, and physical computing to high school junior and senior girls. She is now helping expand Girls Who Code Clubs nationwide. Kristen has served in several teaching positions and brings a passion and excitement to her instruction.

Linda Lim PhD, Technical Advisor / Consultant. Linda is an Explorer, Scientist, Researcher, Developer, Evangelist, Motivator, Listener, and Encourager, backed by her 16 years of professional computing experience in the manufacturing industry, private education industry, hospital and health care industry, public sector industry, and higher education industry, and 10 years of experience in HCI research with accomplishments in a wide variety of computing research areas, while in professional computing roles. She co-­‐authored with Carleen MacKay, PLAYBOOK for Teens, part of a career playbook series. As president of FranNet West, Vinci coached individuals to become CEO’s of their life. She has hired and motivated over 700 sales consultants, designed training programs, written a book on Meeting Management, and founded Team da Vinci, a Commercial Division of Keller Williams Real Estate. Just for fun, she created Festa BELLA! a one day beautiful Italian festival in San Diego, attended by 20,000 guests.

Her goal with InVINCIble Enterprises is to empower smart, talented teens to become future business owners & leaders in STE@M™ industries; and to help solve STEM talent pool problems for Fortune 1000 companies.
